No matter the lodging choice, participants will find themselves living in the natural wonders of Costa Rica, with howler monkeys visiting in the trees and beautiful birds and flowers. All accommodations are an equally short walk to the beach as well as to town.
Eco-accommodations are well-suited for a budget traveler looking for a more "local"-style accommodation. The lodgings are comfortable and clean with air conditioning available.
Ocean view accommodations are the luxury option, situated in landscaped houses with panoramic ocean views, pools and modern kitchens and living areas.

Eco-Immersion (on site)
Live like the locals do, close to nature in a traditional “rancho” bungalow constructed of teak with a thatched palm roof. Listen to the ocean and sounds of the howler monkeys, just 7 minute walk to the beach as well as the local bars and restaurants.

Traditional rancho-style studio with kitchenette or clean basic budget hotel rooms, steps from the beach and the local bars and restaurants.

Beautiful house with traditional design and modern comfort, infinity pool spilling toward the ocean, lovely outdoor terrace and covered patio with cozy, comfy couches.
Ocean View Tica Temple
Traditional style architecture, includes 3 levels so you can spread out and enjoy the peace and quiet with the rhythmic sounds of the ocean and a constant breeze. Custom built in local sustainable teak, featuring an octagonal platform perfect for practice and star gazing on the first level with an outdoor kitchen and grill. Wrap-around teak deck and balcony on the second level with an indoor kitchen, bathroom with double shower heads, outdoor bar and mountain view in the back with a prime ocean view in front, right above the famous Ostional surf break. Third level is an open air bungalow style with a vaulted bamboo ceiling bedroom with a balcony and the best possible view of the surf break from 8 meters high!
Transportation
Pura Vida Martial Arts is located 2 hours south of Liberia, so it is best to fly into Liberia Airport. For adventurous sorts, you can rent a car from the airport or for a relaxing, stress-free experience a private or shared shuttle is an option. Once you have arrived in Ostional, you can rent a car* from local car rentals in Nosara to explore (or you can even rent a quad!) Otherwise, tuk tuks (very little cars) can be hired for a small fare to take you to the neighboring towns or attractions.
